Weekend Predictions for Apr 10-12th (Easter Weekend)

Well since it is Easter some of these movies might take a bigger than normal fall, but still expect a big weekend from Box Office. Plenty of new movies this week that can do potentially well Hannah Montana, Observe and Report, and Dragonball Evolution. Also movies that are still surging in the box office right now. Fast & Furious and Monsters vs Aliens. It might be difficult to perdict this weekends box office.

I defiantly dont think Hannah Montana will do aswell as people may think, there is no hype around this movie at all. I think MvA coming out just before it will damage it a bit.

Hmm don't underestimate the little girl draw. Last time that this factor was underestimated was twilight. Hannah Montana is a huge draw. What is overestimated is the how much followers dragonball will have, I'm sure we all know that movie will bomb. The females will win this week.

I agree with that statement, I dont think Hannah will do aswell as thought to be, and it will show that Miley is human.

Saying that the female draw is as big as the guy comic book draw (or anime series like Dragonball) is crazy. Besides Twilight and Hannah Montana Concert lets look at Jonas Brothers or High School Musical.

I agree with you Pink. Montana is a huge draw by herself I think it will do well, but easter sunday will hurt it a bit.

4. Observe & Report 21.4 (The Seth factor will push it over 20 in my mind.)
5. Dragonball Evolution 18.3 (I think there are plenty of old time fans who will sneak and watch it.)

Hmm... well yes Jonas Brothers did bomb, we agree there. But HSM 3 had over 40 million opening week. If thats bombing than these little girl movies set really high standards. besides Hannah/Miley is way bigger than those Jonas Brothers anyway.

Wow i'm surprised by some of these predictions, how can someone even think that Hannah Montana wont be that huge. If HSM3 can get 40 million I defiantly think Hannah Montana can.

Hannah wont be HUGE, but it wont just BOMB either, like the most of you are saying it will ge in the mid to upper 30s range.

And yes Pink Dragonball will bomb considerably.

I actually think that fast and furious will be number 1 again this week.
