So out of Star Trek & Origins: Wolverine which one will have the bigger opening weekend.

I think Wolverine will defiantly gross more, but i think Star Trek will have a strong midnight showing boosting it to a really strong weekend.

I don't think there is nearly as many trekies out there now. Plus X-men will play to a more broader audience of all ages, where as Star Strek will play for its generation and few new comers. My votes for Wolverine.

Wow, for once I agree with DA, but let me put it in my own words. ST is a fake rip off of star wars, and is for old geeks, X-men is for a much younger audience who can actually get out to the movies to see it.

This is not even debatable, X-men by far. You'd be better off asking X-men or Transformers.

I'm a huge Star Trek fan, so i'm defiantly pulling for it to destroy Wolverine on OW. I actually think it can.

I think Star Trek will be the better, but X-Men will gross most. Its exactly what DA said, X-Men has a much wider fanbase.

I’m going to agree with most of you. Star Trek will do decent I think (better than Watchmen), but Wolverine will do exceptionally well, it’s in the Iron Man sport of last year.

The star trek movie will be better to watch but x men wow rack in the bigger by is defiantly.

Maybe if Star trek wasn't thought to be a rip off on star wars by the main stream it would have a shot.

Oh wow, you guys are lucky I'm just reading this or the debate wouldn't be as one sided as it is. Star Trek still has plenty of treky's out there, plus this is the 1st star trek in like 20s years so it will be missed alot on the big screen. On the other hand they had an xmen movie like yesterday people are getting sick of them you think.
