I appreciated that this movie stayed true to the real story it was about. Even though Tom Cruise may not have been the best choice for the lead role, he did look like the character he played. After watching the real story on History Channel, I found that they did a very good job of keeping the story as real as possible and didn't "hollywood" it up. It helped me understand the whole story about what was going on during this time period. A good history lesson in a movie form! This fit in with all of Jim's other movies like Liar Liar and such, its clear that this movie was built around Jim and as usal he delivered. He may be old but he is still as funny, and i was very surprised by Zooey Deschanel in this movie she really seemed to change from her normal dull character as she was in most of her movies to lively in this one.
